Bring your classic RPG Maker games straight to the modern web! This engine/runtime allows games created in RPG Maker XP, VX, and VX Ace to run seamlessly inside any modern web browser.

About the Engine

• RGSS Web: Uses the web-native engine structure and rendering capabilities of RPG Maker MV (PixiJS) as a modern web foundation.
• mruby Integration: Powered by mruby to execute original Ruby-based RGSS scripts directly in the browser environment.
• Cross-Generation Support: Designed to bridge classic RGSS engine generations into a single, accessible online format.

Development Status

• Work in Progress (WIP): The project is under active development to refine performance, polish rendering accuracy, and eliminate bugs.
• Open Source Plans: Once the project reaches a reliable, stable state, it will be fully released as open source for the community.

Note on Loading Times: Please expect a short wait when launching the online demo, as game asset resources are being fetched over the network. We are actively working on optimizing the asset loader to make the web experience much smoother. That said, desktop performance is already very fast and running smoothly!
